Where are the complex points on a graph?

Dr David ButlerAdelaide University

The complex numbers allow you to find the x-intercepts of graphs that don't appear to meet the x-axis, such as y=x²+1. This means the graphs we know have all these extra points we can't usually see. Is there a way to see these invisible points that surround the graphs we're familiar with? I invented a way to see them, called "i-arrows", and in this presentation, you'll get to explore them.
