Why MASA collects information:
MASA collects and stores personal information which is necessary to administer your membership and other business activities and to keep you up to date with various services provided by MASA including professional news, conferences and resource updates. The information we collect is recorded electronically.
Confidentiality:
Your personal information is strictly confidential. It is not made available to any outside organization. Only MASA office staff and the MASA Executive members have access to your information.
Can I access my personal information?
Yes. Members and other associates have the right to request access to their personal information. This right is subject to some exceptions which are set out in the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000. In order to ensure the privacy and security of its members and other associates, MASA requires any request for information to be made in writing and include your full name, address and phone number. This way we can speedily verify your request.
