T2L Workshop@MASA: The Best Way to Teach Maths Is…
June 1 @ 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
The Best Way to Teach Maths Is……… with Michael Minas from the T2L – Teachers to Leaders Team
Throughout the day, you will work with Michael to unpack both sides of the debate:
- prioritising explicit teaching of skills and concepts , or
- adopting a problem-solving approach that encourages inquiry and discovery
… looking at how they operate in practice and how they impact student understanding, confidence, and achievement. Through practical examples, classroom scenarios, and collaborative discussion, we will challenge the idea that this is an “either/or” decision.
