2024 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Members of The Mathematical Association of South Australia Inc. are given notice that ;

The 2024 Annual General Meeting of The Mathematical Association of South Australia Inc. will be held at the offices at Building D, 80 Payneham Road, Stepney, South Australia on Tuesday 3rd of December 2024 commencing at 7.00pm.

The meeting may also be attended via videoconferencing. Please contact the Association at admin@masanet.com.au to request the videoconference link.

Full members may nominate for appointment to the Committee. The nomination form for the 2025 Committee is downloadable. Completed forms must reach the MASA Office by Tuesday 26th November 2024.

Business to be conducted at the Annual General Meeting;

1. Acknowledgement of Country.
2. Receipt of the Minutes of the 2023 Annual General Meeting.
3. Presentation of the 2024 President’s Report.
4. Presentation of the 2024 Professional Officer’s Report.
5. Presentation of the 2024 Treasurer’s Report including the 2023-2024 audited accounts.
6. Setting of the annual subscription fees for;
   – Individual Members,
   – Institutional Members and
   – Student Members
   for the ensuing year.
7. The appointment of Committee members;
   – President
   – Immediate Past President [1]
   – Vice President
   – Treasurer
   – Secretary
   – Public Officer
   – Committee (10 positions).
8. The appointment of the Auditor of the Association.
9. Other business.
