Building Thinking Classrooms: First Steps Workshop

Join Lorna McClory, Australia’s only official Building Thinking Classrooms team member, for a hands-on, two-day professional learning experience designed for teachers beginning or refining their journey with these practices.
Friday, 11th September and Monday, 30th November 2026 (9.30am to 4.30pm both days) to be held at MASA, Stepney, SA.
What to expect:
- Step into the learner’s shoes using visibly random groups and vertical non-permanent surfaces.
- Dive deep into all 14 practices, from non-curricular tasks to full curricular lesson structures.
- Walk away with practical strategies for launch, facilitation, consolidation, meaningful notes, and Check-Your-Understanding questions.
Please note this is an in-person, two-day workshop program, so attendance on both dates is required.
