The Operation Tower is how I help students remember and make sense of the order of operations (which other people use "BEDMAS" for). In this workshop I will describe the Operations Tower and how it can help students throughout the years, as well as discuss related ideas about problem-solving, flexibility and the way mathematical working is written.
