Summer School 2024

The 56th NMSS will be held in Canberra from 7 to 20 January

The National Mathematics Summer School is a program for motivated and high-achieving school students that has been held each January since 1969.

The selection of students is organised by the mathematics teachers’ association in each state, as well as the Director of NMSS.  Students are selected based on their mathematical interest, achievement, and potential, insofar as these can be assessed.  Participation is normally restricted to about 75 students who have completed Year 11 in school.
