Upcoming Information Session via Zoom on Wednesday 4th March 2026, 4.00pm

Mathematical investigations give students a hands-on way to use what they’ve learned and see how maths connects to the real world. They help build skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, clear communication, and teamwork.

Through investigations, students tackle challenging questions, explore their own ideas, and show creativity beyond the standard curriculum. Entering the SA Investigating with Mathematics Competition can also boost a student’s profile, bring recognition to their school, and even offer cash prizes—all while deepening their appreciation of maths.
