2026 STEM Conference: Call for Workshops Close

Call for Workshops – Close 28 September 2026
The STEM Conference continues to bring together primary and secondary educators from across South Australia to explore innovative approaches to teaching and learning in STEM.
Presented through a collaborative partnership between:
- Design and Technology Teachers Association of South Australia (DATTA SA)
- EdTech SA
- Mathematical Association of South Australia (MASA)
- South Australian Science Teachers Association (SASTA)
Together, we are creating opportunities for educators to connect across disciplines, share expertise, and explore how STEM education can empower young people to shape an uncertain and exciting future.
Conference Theme: STEM for an Unwritten Future
The future is not something we simply prepare students for; it is something they will help write.
“STEM for an Unwritten Future” invites educators to explore how STEM learning can foster curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and innovation in a world where many of tomorrow’s challenges, careers, and technologies have yet to emerge.
This year’s conference will showcase ideas, strategies, and experiences that empower students to imagine possibilities, solve complex problems, and become confident contributors to a rapidly evolving world. We encourage workshop proposals from educators across all year levels and learning settings, including primary education.
